J’ai signé le montage de Chiliheads, fous de piments forts, réalisé par Julien Fréchette et produit par Toast Studio, qui sera présenté aux Rendez-vous Québec Cinéma ce dimanche, 24 avril, à 18h00 au Cinéma Quartier Latin. Une rare occasion de voir le film sur grand écran, en présence de l’équipe! 
Wow! Fanny: The Right to Rock obtient 3 nominations au Gala Québec Cinéma! Meilleure Direction photo (Claire Sanford et Sam Trudelle), Meilleur Son (Daniel Toussaint et Ginette Bellavance), et Meilleur Montage (moi-même!). C’est avec beaucoup de joie et de gratitude que je reçois cette mise en nomination, que je partage avec la réalisatrice, Bobbi Jo Hart, qui a pris des risques en se lançant corps et âme dans ce projet et qui a mis en lumière des musiciennes extraordinaires, les légendaires FANNY. Aussi, un merci chaleureux à Robbie Hart, co-producteur du film, pour son soutient inconditionnel. Et une mention spéciale à Kara Blake, pour son travail de compositing et sa touche artistique, et à Digital Cut pour le online et la colorisation. Bravo à toute l’équipe! You ROCK

It is with great joy and gratitude that I receive this nomination, which I share with the director, Bobbi Jo Hart, who took risks by throwing herself body and soul into this project and who brought to light extraordinary musicians, the legendary FANNY. FANNY: The Right to Rock, un film que j’ai monté, réalisé par Bobbi Jo Hart, débute en salle ce lundi, 18 octobre, à 21h00 au Cinéma du Parc. C’est l’histoire incroyable des pionnières du Rock & Roll FANNY, le premier groupe de femmes à avoir sorti un LP dans les années 70, avant même The Runaways et The Go-Go’s. Après avoir fait le tour du monde et gagné de multiples prix, le film sort enfin ici! Ne manquez pas ça 😀
FANNY: The Right to Rock, a film I edited, directed by Bobbi Jo Hart, premieres in theaters this Monday, October 18, at 9:00 p.m. at the Cinéma du Parc. It’s the incredible story of the Rock & Roll pioneers FANNY, the first all-women band to release an LP in the 1970s, even before The Runaways and The Go-Go’s. As part of the opening night of Pop Montreal, the film will be presented at Entrepôt 77 at 8:00 pm, followed by a live performance including Fanny lead guitarist, June Millington, and the band NOBRO who will do fanny covers. I’ll see you there!
After multiple festivals and awards, FANNY: The Right to Rock, by Bobbi Jo Hart, will be part of a very special event tonight. It is the closing night film of the OUTFEST in L.A. and the gala will be followed by a historic performance, reuniting the FANNY bandmates, featuring June Millington, Jean Millington, Brie Horward Darling, Alice de Buhr and Patti Quatro. I’m really proud to have edited this film and I wish I could be there myself to witness this grandiose event!
Après plusieurs festivals et récompenses, FANNY: The Right to Rock, de Bobbi Jo Hart, fera parti d’un événement très spécial ce soir. C’est le film de clôture du OUTFEST à L.A. et le gala sera suivi d’une performance historique, réunissant les membres du groupe FANNY, avec June Millington, Jean Millington, Brie Horward Darling, Alice de Buhr et Patti Quatro. Je suis vraiment fière d’avoir monté ce film et j’aimerais pouvoir être là moi-même pour assister à cet événement grandiose!
CBC’s Absolutely Canadian series kicks off tomorrow with Catherine Legault’s documentary “Sisters: Dream and Variations”, an award-winning doc that follows 2 Montreal artists of Icelandic descent to their ancestral home.
